BEFORE REGISTERING: This course is only for current SwimSafe employees. If you have not yet interviewed, you must do that before registering for this class. 

Your employment with SwimSafe is contingent on passing this course and instructor recommendation.

The purpose of the StarGuard Lifeguard Training Course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services arrive. 

ONLINE TRAINING: You are required to complete the online training component before you show up to class. The online training will be shared with you 10 days before your scheduled class. Please budget your time accordingly. We expect you to be prepared for class by learning the information presented in the online course.

PRECLASS SWIM TEST: You must have attended and passed the pre-class swim test in order to attend class. 

West Clermont HealthPlex requires ALL participants to complete a liablity waiver. Those under 18 years old must have it signed by a legal guardian. Click here to access the waiver.
