This class has been created for current SwimSafe Dayton employees in good standing and is only visible with the link you were provided! This will be the only recertification offered in Dayton for the 2024 season so get signed up now.

This is a 2 day class, you must attend class both days to obtain your certification.

DAY 1: University of Dayton 9am-12pm (this will be split in 2 time slots, the week of class you will be notified of your time slot via email)

DAY 2: Vandalia Rec Center 8am-3pm (you must be in attendance for the whole day)

The purpose of the Renewal Lifeguard Training Course is to recertify lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services arrive.

Please be sure your online training is completed prior to attending class. This will be sent within 2 business days after registration. If you are experiencing issues with logging into the portal, please email Ellie. Please budget your time accordingly. The online material takes about 4 hours for renewal guards. 

Since the training is free, your certification will belong to SwimSafe Pool Management. Your certification will only be released to you with payment.
